Simon Hughes MP

Surely one of the most recognisable faces in politics, Simon has been the Member of Parliament for North Southwark and Bermondsey since 1983. He kindly came to our last Christmas party and unlike some politicians who show their face for the photo-shoot before disappearing, Simon hung around talking to everyone and trying to persuade us all to vote Lib Dem! Not really...but he did stay and talk to people which was lovely. And because he had visited us once before and offered his support we thought it was time to ask him to be our patron…and he kindly agreed.
