He got the opportunity to go back to College in his early twenties and with the support of his first wife was able to obtain a degree and a teaching qualification. He then taught for the next twelve years. The painful memories of his childhood abuse kept coming to the forefront of his mind and at the age of 38, he decided to set up a charity to help people like himself. Pete just waits for the day when that big cheque arrives for NAPAC so that he can sleep at night knowing all the other survivors in this country can get the support and help that in the end, turned his life around. |
