| Documentary maker seek
contributers |
Special Edition Films, who produce films often of a sensitive
and difficult nature, are looking to talk in complete confidence
to family members who are dealing with a child sex abuser in the
family, for documentary research.
They are looking into this area because they believe the fact
that most child sex abuse happens within a family, unlike what
the nation is led to believe through tabloid “stranger danger”
hysteria, needs to be given wider publicity.
They think that it is also important to show there is more than
one victim in child sex abuse cases - with the family also having
to come to terms with their lives being completely turned upside
down; the loving and trusting relationship they once believed
in being stripped away.
If you are interested, please email Danni
or you can call her on 020 8960 1446.

| 15 March- Thank you for everything
you have done so far to help make the current House of Commons Early
Day Motion (EDM) 729 "Children & human rights", one
of the top concerns for Westminster MPs. Please see our
report which outlines the progress made with this EDM.
In the coming weeks, we need to step up constituent pressure
on those MPs who, for whatever reason, have not signed EDM 729.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
We would be very grateful if you would write to your MPs about
EDM 729. Please see our short campaign
action briefing for further information.

| Westminster debate on resources for Survivors of Childhood
Sexual Abuse |
02 March- To all survivors, we
all know of the lack of resources for the likes of ourselves,
family and partners. Here is a chance to have your voice heard.
I have asked my MP Mr. Kawczynski (of Shrewsbury & Atcham)
to table a debate on Resources for Survivors of Childhood Sexual
Abuse, which will be heard in Westminster Hall shortly.
We need as many as possible MPs from across the political spectrum
to support this debate which is why I am asking you to consider
writing to your local MP requesting that they support Mr. Kawczynski.
Please feel free to add any personal experiences you have with
regard Childhood Sexual Abuse, this is entirely your own choice
but the more we make the politicians realise that we are a very
large, but as yet unheard of, amount of people who do not have
a voice or representation in Parliament.
If you wish to know how to contact your MP please go to: www.theyworkforyou.com
Thank you,
Kirk McIntyre.
Kirk McIntyre was a victim of Jonathan King and Chris Denning.
