Thankyou beautiful animals
thanyou, you make me cry
not the tears that human beings cause
but the ones that come from joy

Thankyou beautiful animals
thankyou, you dont have wars
being near your simple innocence
helps to soothe my painful scars

Thankyou beautiful animals
thankyou, your love is safe
you give me something i can trust
gentleness in my heart

Thankyou beautiful animals
thankyou, for being our friends
and for reminding this hurt person
of the child i really am
