Parallel Lives

Parallel Lives is an illustrated collection of poems that trace the lives of two girls who went to school together. In verse, Rita sensitively traces the contrasting experiences from birth to old age, of two girls whose lives crossed briefly in childhood: Lily who was abused as a child and Bernadette who was not. Rita dedicates her poems to those people whose lives are indelibly scarred by actions over which they had no control. Rita wants to help raise awareness of NAPAC and has generously said that 100% of the profits from Parallel Lives will come to NAPAC! We are incredibly thankful for all that she has done and continues to do to help survivors of childhood abuse. |
