Survivors Poetry

Untitled

Ssssh he whispered in her ear
It's only me no need to fear
Then something move between her legs
Please Please stop the little girl begs

Was it real or just a dream
Why oh why didn't she scream
She couldn't move, ridged with fear
Trust in him cost her dear

Again he came in the dead of night
She couldn't stop him, couldn't fight
Tears streaming down her face
She had to get out, away from this place

With nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
The pain she felt was kept inside
Ten years old her innocense gone
She hated him for what he had done

Social Services they took her away
What he had done she wouldn't say
It was a secret she could not tell
So she was locked in a prison cell

She thought her mum would help her out
But mum stood by him, didn't doubt
She was all alone, mum didn't care
Walked away and left her there

So yes she hates him
And is glad he's dead
But the memories live on
Inside her head.
