Survivors Poetry

Secrets

Secrets are deep
Secrets are cruel
Secrets that make you everyone's fool
You beat them back down
You don't let them out
The pain and the hurt you can't speak about
Wait for his death
Even that doesn't ease
It just makes things worse
I just want to scream
Scream out "it's not fair"
Why'd it happen to me?
No one to confide in
It's just my fault you see
The older you get makes no difference at all
Waiting for death
The end of it all

Bully for You, Bully for Me

Let me give you a piece of advice
Don't trust anyone in this life
Unless you're a bully
You will be abused
Bully for me, bully for you

To be nice is against the rules
Be more assertive I hear you say
It's not in my nature
At the end of the day
Bully for you, bully for me

So bullied and destroyed
I'll continue to be
They have ruined my life
It is the end of me
Bully for you, bully for me
